Bye, Bye Analog TV

Better get your converter boxes well ahead of time. Unless you have cable or satellite TV that is digital ready, you have to get a converter box.  As of Feb 2009, analog signal to your TV antenna will no longer be available – it will be digital only. You must buy a converter box at a cost of $40 to $70 at your favorite electronics store. I can’t even begin to comprehend what kind of problem this will cause and how overwhelmed store employees will be educating people with this transition. Good thing I already have satellite TV.
