October is the Month

for Breast Cancer Awareness and Pharmacy Appreciation, among other things. I will be sporting this theme for the rest of the month and then revert back to my old theme. Or I may tweak this one and keep it – I don’t know but I’m just doing my part to spread awarness. Hope you all are enjoying your day. Talk with you later.

Welcome back! I love the new look and it’s very cool of you to help spread awareness!

Melusin was a DNF for me. I couldn’t stand the whiny hero. I was expecting dark and tortured. I did get dark and tortured but too much whining and gawd he was such a pushover! But I’m glad you enjoyed it! 🙂

Mailyn, I know what you mean! Felix hasn’t er changed much in The Virtu. He’s even worse. I like Mildmay better but I am enjoying this series very much. Oh, well. As I was reading this book, I thought you guys would like it and you could review it on your website, one which I visit everyday, but since you didn’t enjoy it 😦 Maybe Kailana will read it? God, I hope I spelled her name right 🙂 Take care. Off to work.

  3. Kailana says:

Yep, you spelled it right! And it was because of Mailyn I was scared to read it! I will look into it eventually. And, I am glad that you read the site!

  4. Dance Chica says:

Yeah, I lost interest too after Mailyn’s colorful review. LOL. But glad you enjoyed it!

  5. Dance Chica says:

Oh and meant to say: I like the new look! And such a great cause to do it for. 🙂

  6. Mailyn says:

    I’m sorry. 😦

I didn’t mean to scare anyone. But, er, yeah, I have this weird taste in books as most everyone seemed to love this. Oh and thanks for visiting our site! I’m all squeeee about it! 🙂

I see Mailyn is the culprit of everyone’s fear. Hmmmm. I vote for Kailana to read it and put everybody at ease. LOL. But I don’t see it on her reading list. I agree with Mailyn that one of the characters was a bit overbearing but much of the book that particular character was er mad or damaged so it was to be expected. I am dragging out my reading of the sequel and have located her short story in Queen in Winter. Meanwhile, I need to find your review Mailyn as I would love to read it. I’ve read several other review sites that loved and panned the first book.
